This watch does its job with ease. And it suits every occasion. Our highly water-resistant watch Ahoi is now available with a diameter of just 38.5 millimeters and—for the first time—with the innovative and super-slim neomatik caliber DUW 6101. This in-house automatic movement features our patented date mechanism. Even with a sapphire crystal case back, the case measures just 9.9 millimeters in height. The result is a most elegant interpretation of a sports watch. Every glance at the dial brings the sense of limitless freedom—as refreshing as a brisk sea breeze.

Ahoi neomatik 38 date in detail

The first choice for those who know what matters

Whether in the office, in water, or during an evening spent enjoying the sunset—this sporty automatic watch suits every occasion. And it does so day and night. Precise and powerful, perfectly proportioned and, with a case height of less than 10 millimeters, remarkably thin on the wrist. A result of Glashütte expertise, style, and composure.

A glance at this sky blue dial, under a sapphire crystal with colorless anti-reflective coating on both sides, will inspire wanderlust. The textile strap securely holds Ahoi neomatik date on your wrist—with all the style you would expect from this tailor-made piece, sourced from France.

Clear, compact, and comfortable: DUW 6101 from Deutsche Uhrenwerke NOMOS Glashütte ticks within this Ahoi. The automatic date caliber was specially adapted to fit the new diameter of 38.5 millimeters. This sand-colored dial features a metallic finish.

With its sturdier bezel, crown guard, and screw-down crown, Ahoi neomatik 38 date is robust. And yet, with its elegantly angled lugs and a height of just 9.8 millimeters (or 9.9 millimeters with glass back), it makes an excellent first impression—even on more formal occasions.

The date window on NOMOS watches is always the same color as the dial. The crown guard offers additional protection, and a red warning ring is visible when the crown is not fully screwed in—ensuring the high water resistance of 20 atm.

The motor

DUW 6101

An in-house innovation: neomatik date (DUW 6101) is powered by a proprietary escapement, the super precise NOMOS swing system. With this pacesetter—recognizable by the blue balance spring—the watchmaking company stands out in the industry with something singular and special.

DUW 6101: neomatik date, a high-end mechanism from Glashütte. This neomatik caliber is not only very large but, at only 3.6 millimeters in height, also exeptionally slender. The date is located exactly where it should be—at the edge of the dial. The fact that it can be set forwards or backwards quickly and easily? Just one of many user-friendly features.
