For those who appreciate straightforward design and clear lines, and can’t get enough of the NOMOS classic Tangente: here’s its big brother with a more robust case, larger diameter, and an automatic caliber. A multiple prizewinner with an excellent winding rate and outstanding accuracy.

Automatic excellence—anytime, anywhere

Tangomat is the name of the first automatic watch from NOMOS Glashütte. Tangomat has presence. And, if you like, 24 timezones as well—in the GMT version.

Tangomat GMT feels at home everywhere: NYC, BER, LON—airport codes give away the time zone.

The case and dial alike: no frills, not too plain, tidy but not boring. And still straightforward, despite its complication.

This watch ticks automatically. The caliber within turns motion into time, with high precision and reliability—and only needs a little more space to do so; making this watch appear more robust.

Red Dot, iF, Goldene Unruh: Tangomat has them all.

Tangomat is one of the few NOMOS watches that is not available in a classic 35-millimeter diameter, but only starting from a size of exactly 38.3 millimeters.

With a white silver-plated dial or coated with ruthenium (almost black)—despite its generous proportions, Tangomat likes to keep things simple.

Technology

It has everything except manual winding

A great deal of tradition and craftsmanship, combined with high-tech where it serves precision: that is NOMOS Glashütte. Tangomat was the first NOMOS watch that our watchmaking company equipped with an automatic movement. And it is only available as an automatic: equipped with DUW 5001 (which only tells the time), with DUW 5101 (with a date), and as Tangomat GMT with a world time complication (DUW 5201).
