Tangente

This watch is the epitome of NOMOS Glashütte, at least for many people. The rounded case with many right angles, this masterpiece of straightforwardness is the embodiment of Glashütte’s craftsmanship. It serves more or less as the company’s brand logo. And since 1992 it has been selling and selling and selling; running and running and running. More than any other watch at NOMOS Glashütte, this model has earned the title “design classic.” It has won many awards for its design and its quality. Even though it might not look it, the Tangente is a very robust watch.

Only the Tangente Sport model is more robust, especially for water sports.

The pleasure of good design should be made available to the widest possible group of people. This is a primary tenet of the Deutscher Werkbund and also what we believe at NOMOS Glashütte. For this reason, this watch comes in numerous variations and versions: for example, with date display, power reserve indicator, or sapphire crystal back. It is even available as a somewhat larger, automatic model called Tangomat.
