Freedom, peace, justice, and equality are just some of the values that the Basic Law enshrined in German democracy 75 years ago. Today, they are more valuable than ever. The classic Ludwig is a reminder of this in a limited edition of just 75 pieces. Article 1, section 1 of the German Basic Law is engraved on the case back of this special model: “Die Würde des Menschen ist unantastbar.” (“Human dignity shall be inviolable.”) The NOMOS Alpha hand-wound caliber, regulated according to chronometer values, ticks inside.
The white silver-plated dial with Roman numerals features a discreet section symbol in black at 6 o’clock. Beneath it, in place of “Made in Germany”, there is a special inscription: “75 Jahre Grundgesetz”.
A strong profile: The slender dimensions accentuate the harmoniously rounded shape of the case with its fine lugs. At a diameter of 35 millimeters, the mechanical watch measures just 6.8 millimeters in height.
